Event Details

Christkindlmarkt, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is known for its unique holiday shopping experience featuring dozens of artisans offering thousands of unique, handmade gifts and holiday items, including the premier German ornament manufacturer Käthe Wohlfahrt. Experience more than just shopping at Christkindlmarkt; There's a full schedule of performers everyday of the market. Watch as an ice block is sculpted into a work of art and create your own glass artwork with the ArtsQuest Hot Glass Experience. As with past years, Christkindlmarkt will feature a variety of delicacies, including holiday fare like strudel, German bratwurst and Christmas cookies. Guests will find a variety of food options throughout the grounds—including a diverse array of beers, hot toddies, and other beverages. On our way home, we’ll drive through Bethlehem to see it decorated for the holidays.

Registration will begin on Tuesday, October 28th at 9 a.m. for all Amityville Public Library cardholders and Friday, October 31st at 9 a.m. for all non-Amityville Public Library cardholders (if there is still room! You might want to call ahead of time to check!)
 

*Note: On October 28th, each Amityville Public Library cardholder can sign up themselves and ONE other Amityville School District resident. On Friday, October 31st, everyone is free to register.

**Transportation waiver required: Click here to sign/date the transportation waiver. Anyone who doesn't sign the waiver will be unable to get onto the bus.
